The most profitable people and businesses in the world are highly connected to others. Apple and Zappos are awesome examples of companies that understand the importance of connection.

While is it fairly straightforward to use face-to-face networking to build connections, Internet social media remains a mystery for many. To avoid becoming easily replaceable (the opposite of Invaluable) you must master social media, regardless of your industry, business or job description.
